In this series of snapshots we bring you brief insights into the challenges refugees face around the world and the transforming experiences some of them have had encountering Jesus. See glimpses from Ukraine, Athens, Rome, Malawi, and Austria.

One family in the refugee camp had a sick child that needed three different kinds of medicine. “I don’t know where to go to buy the medicine,” Ismail declared. “And I don’t know how much it costs or if I have enough money for it,” he continued. A little over an hour later, Ismail had the needed medicine for his son. Now, every time our team is in the camp, Ismail sees us and insists on either shaking our hands or kissing us on the cheek. “Thank you, my friends, for helping us in our time of need.”
